Performance Classes
Students having studied for more than 3 years in jazz and/or tap may audition for our jazz and tap performance classes. Auditions are held in June for the following fall classes. Performance classes are advanced classes and require the dancer to be able to retain choreography in short periods of time. In addition, performance students are required to attend added rehearsals on some Saturdays. All performance students (and all pointe students) will dance in our “By Audition Only” winter recital, which provides these excellent performers additional stage experiences.
Competition Classes
Students are hand-selected to be on our competition team. We compete in 2 or 3 competitions throughout the year and have brought home several award winning trophies including several national championship awards.
Kindermusik
Kindermusik is a developmentally appropriate music and movement program for children ages newborn through 7. Kindermusic International continually develops and enhances its music and movement curricula by incorporating the latest early childhood development research that shows that active participation in a music program is a powerful stimulant for a child’s total human development. It provides the sound nutrition to improve movement, listening and expression
in young children. Through activities and music making skills for parents and children alike. Current research has shown that movement is the key to learning at any age. Our brains fully develop through movement activities such as crawling, rolling, turning, walking, skipping reaching and much more. When children and adults participate in Kindermusik classes they are developing both sides of their brains through structured and creative music and movement activities.
Kindermusik is an integrated approach to a child’s development. Physiological, touch, movement, rhythm and sound are the keys to developing a healthier and happier creative child. The importance of having families work together where everyone benefits from the sense of belonging, gets directly at the heart of what we are as a society to raise healthy, loving children.
Each Kindermusik class is a world of discovery and adventure. In every class, you witness your child’s developmental evolution in language skills, literacy, listening, problem solving, social skills, self esteem and musicality. And it all happens within a nurturing environment – full of energy, imagination, music, dancing and playful delight.
Kindermusik classes are taught by licensed professions with certifications in Kindermusik. The classes are divided by age: newborn to 1 1/2 years, 1 1/2 years to 3 years.

Zumba®

Zumba is designed for everyone, every shape and age. Anyone can start a Zumba class and have fun. This program is not limited to dancers, fitness fanatics or seniors.
