Tuition is charged on the first of the month with the card on file. Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card. We currently have a late fee policy for payment that is received after the first week of classes within the month.
Absolutely! We have one-way mirrors for parents/guardians/guests to view and watch the entire class. Each of our three studios have one-way mirrors.
Initially, new Dance Den students are placed in classes according to age, grade level, and dance experience. Once the instructors work with the student, changes may be made based on the dancer’s ability. Check out our Classes section of our website for more information.
The Dance Den does close for inclement weather. Closings will be posted on social media. You can also call the studio one hour before class for an updated pre-recorded message regarding any class cancellations. Make-up classes are available.
Our recitals are held in Millstone, NJ at the Millstone Middle School. Our Winter “By Audition Only” recital will be held in January and our End of the Year Recital will be held in June. For more information, check out our Recitals page.
Our costumes usually range between $60-$75.
Yes, we have a junior and a senior competition team. For more information, check out our Competition Classes page.
Yes, we do invite master teachers to come teach various classes to our students. We feel it is important for our students to learn from different dance artists. Our faculty continues to improve their dance skills by learning directly from industry leading dance professionals and we encourage our students to do so as well.
Yes, we currently have several students with a variety of special needs, developmental issues, or learning disabilities. Some of our staff have special education degrees and can aid these children in dance classes.
Yes, we offer the Monica Ann Talcott Award each year to one Dance Den Student that has demonstrated dedication, enthusiasm, and improved dance technique throughout the year. She must be unanimously voted by the staff to receive the award, which is presented at our end of the year recital.
We offer the Joseph H. Skiba College Scholarship Award to a graduating senior going on to a four-year college. The recipient is a dancer who has shown improved technique and wonderful Dance Den spirit.
